Our Story

      Harrigan's Café & Wine Deck has been in operation serving the Johnstown community for over 30 years. Its dining room survived the 1977 Flood, although it sustained major damage. In the new age of globalization, we are committed to bringing some of the world's best food and wines to our guests.

      Harrigan's Café & Wine Deck is a Mediterranean restaurant specializing in foods from Italy, France, Spain and other parts of the Mediterranean basin. This cooking style uses healthy ingredients like olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, and fresh herbs. The Mediterranean cuisine is heart healthy and is an excellent complement to wine.

      Our café is open 7 days a week and offers a more casual atmosphere. We offer a Tapas menu throughout the day and late night dining on Fridays and Saturdays. We feature a special Mediterranean Sushi Bar on Fridays from 5-8 PM. This Sushi Bar features traditional Sushi, Ceviche and Seafood Carpaccio. On Fridays and Saturdays our Wine Deck features a 4-course upscale prix-fixe selection and some limited upscale ala-carte selections.

      Harrigan's Café & Wine Deck has an extensive WINE SPECTATOR award-winning wine list. Ninety-five percent of our wines have Wine Spectator or Wine Advocate scores of 90 points or higher.

      Our management staff and culinary team travel extensively to bring fresh culinary innovations back to Harrigan's to serve our customers. Our culinary team is committed to using local products and is working constantly to find new local vendors. Some people don't believe that the world's best food and wines belong in a community like Johnstown. These elitists believe these dining experiences should be limited to the restaurants in Manhattan or Hollywood.
